AAV Packaging

AAV (Adeno-associated virus) is a parvoviridae virus belonging to the genus Dependoparvovirus. It has a simple structure which is replication-defective, non-enveloped viruses with single stranded DNA. AAV exhibits high tissue specificity, good transmissibility, low immunogenicity, high safety and stability compared to other viral vectors. These characteristics make recombinant adeno-associated viruses (rAAV) one of the promising viral vectors for basic research and gene therapy with significant market potential.

uBriGene has established an advanced viral packaging platform with top-quality AAV packaging process. Rigorous quality control and comprehensive process quality management ensure the provision of high-titer and high-purity off-the-shelf and customizable AAV to our clients.

uBriGene can provide both small-scale preparations (in vivo/ vitro) as well as large-scale cGMP production for clinical applications. Our services cater to various needs in the fields of scientific research and clinical studies on gene therapy. Our company currently possesses plasmids with dozens of AAV serotypes, allowing for the preparation of various viruses with different capsids. With our own patented helper plasmids and high-quality AAV viral vectors, we stand out among viral packaging services in the industry. Our supplementary services, including AAV CRISPR and AAV vector QC test upon request, further enhance our products and services. Furthermore, we can select AAV serotypes with stronger tissue specificity based on your specific requirements. These can be combined with numerous promoter elements to better meet your tissue-specific needs.
