As the landscape of cancer treatment evolves, chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapies are revolutionizing how we approach the disease by harnessing the immune system's potential to target and eliminate cancer cells. However, the manufacturing of CAR-T cells presents significant challenges, including genetic modification risks and the need for scalable, efficient solutions.
Our study introduces a novel RNA-lipid nanoparticle (RNA-LNP) technology that enables the efficient and safe delivery of therapeutic RNAs—such as messenger RNA (mRNA), circular RNA (circRNA), and self-amplifying RNA (saRNA)—into T cells, thereby enhancing the CAR-T cell manufacturing process.
